Passenger ship

A passenger ship is a ship whose primary design and build to carry passengers, and definitely carrying more than 12 passengers. The ship must comply with all relevant regulation. It should cover every aspect of ship construction and operation, including safety operation.

While passenger ship is categorized as below:

1. Ferries

2. Yachts

3. Ocean liners

4. Cruise ships

Ferries

She is a small size a passenger ship with seating capacity 40-600 pax. She has also short sea trip sailing for a day or overnight between two or more ports. Beside carrying passengers, ferry as passenger ship also loads small cargo, and vehicles (whether road or rail).

Yachts

Yachts are small ships or boat. Her design is primarily used for pleasure purposes. They have their engine which has become popular in the last years and now famously as luxurious passenger ships. There is some yacht category, such as yachts such as Weekender yachts day, racing yachts, sailing yachts, and cruising yachts.

Ocean liners

Ocean liner called a traditional passenger ship. She is the primary mode of intercontinental travel and has 1,500 to 2,000 seat passengers typically. Ocean Liner is also completed with facilities of saloons, sports halls, and swimming pools. Titanic is one of the most luxury and famous ocean liners.

Cruise ships

A cruise ship was a generally smaller passenger ship than an old ocean liner made in the 1980s. Now she is changing time by time and transformed her into a huge cruise passenger ship.
